Séverine Barbe

I began practicing yoga at the age of 21 with several passionate and dedicated teachers. One of them introduced me to individual Iyengar Yoga lessons. I was fortunate to benefit from their experience and guidance.

After completing my training in fitness and Pilates, I have been working as a health instructor for over 27 years. In 2017, I completed a Yoga Teacher Training (Hatha Yoga) in Rishikesh, India. Passionate about inversions, especially to support my back, I explored aerial fabric practice and obtained an Aerial Yoga Certification in 2023.

As a young adult, I discovered the benefits of relaxation techniques, wellness massages, and various therapeutic approaches. These experiences helped me find deep inner balance and fulfillment. In 2003, I trained as a massage practitioner, followed by a certification in somatotherapy in 2006, working with people of all ages.

I offer my services in diverse settings: clients' homes, associations, hotels, guesthouses, massage schools, companies, retirement homes, hospitals, and palliative care facilities. I accompany each person with passion and adaptability, drawing from my rich professional experience and skillset.

Always eager to learn and grow, I continue to train and work on my personal development, which greatly contributes to my sense of fulfillment.

I currently work in Provence and the Basque Country, where I live – and I’m open to opportunities wherever they arise.
